What is eSignature?

Electronic signature gives you the ability to electronically review and edit your report prior to applying your electronic signature.

Electronic signature allows clinicians to sign directly in the electronic health record and is mandatory at PHSA (with the exception of Forensic Psychiatric Services)  and optional at FH, PHC, VCH.

At FH, PHC, VCH and Forensic Psychiatric Services, clinicians sign within the M*Modal dictation system (Fluency Manager).

The standard time frame for sign off on documents is five business days.
Resident dictations should be reviewed within 72 hours.
