Depending on the need to consult with others or due to a large volume of records to review, the time may be extended, as permitted under the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. 

If there is a delay, depending on the nature of the request we either call or notify you in writing of the reason for the extension and estimated due date.
